Property: Colorless hexagonal crystal. Density is 2.68. It is soluble in ether and other solvents, insoluble in alcohol. The solubility in acid is greater than in water. It will decompose of sodium fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride after strong heating.
Applications:
It is used as pesticides, adhesives, also used in ceramics, glass, enamel, wood preservation, medicine, water treatment, leather, rubber and sodium fluoride.
