The working principle of thermistor crystal oscillator is to add a thermistor and a varactor diode to the ordinary patch crystal oscillator.A thermosensitive quartz crystal oscillator with temperature sensing function is developed by combining the capacitance function of varactor diode with the thermal sensing function.The thermo-sensitive crystal oscillator with temperature sensor can maintain a precise constant temperature in the working process when it is affected by temperature sensor, so that the precision of crystal oscillator can not only provide signal to CPU, but also avoid large frequency deviation caused by temperature problem to crystal oscillator.
Heat-sensitive crystals appear mainly is to replace expensive removing crystals, but the thermal crystals can not completely replace the working principle of the TCXO because precision accuracy of the thermal vibration crystal itself is in plus or minus 10 PPM, the TCXO removing crystals precision deviation in the range of + / – 0.5 PPM, so precision of the thermal vibration crystal defects, so he is unable to completely replace TCXO.
